Georgetown
International
Arbitration
Society
Established in 2008, the Georgetown International Arbitration Society (GIAS) is a community of about 750 past and present Georgetown Law students and has been one of the leading student organizations at Georgetown Law. Our goal is to promote international arbitration by facilitating discussion about it among students, academics, and practitioners — through the events, partnerships, and scholarship we build together.

What We Do
GIAS serves as a platform for academic exchange, professional development, and global collaboration by connecting students with leading scholars, practitioners, law firms, and organizations. Through conferences, panel discussions, networking, and community events, we foster an inclusive environment that empowers the next generation of international arbitration professionals.
